Glee Star Lea Michele says Charice not really a “rival”

Glee star Lea Michele revealed some details about what’s coming up for her character, Rachel Berry, in season 2 at the Fox-sponsored press party last Aug. 2 at the Santa Monica Pier.

Lea Michele shared her thoughts about her character’s new “nemesis” Charice.

“She and I filmed a hilarious scene the other day and she is the teeniest, most wee person I have ever seen in my life and she is so darling and she’s so sweet,” said Michele. “She has a gorgeous voice.

Charice sings Shania’s hit

Filipino Singing Sensation Charice Pempengco did her own rendition of a Shania Twain hit ,“You’re Still The One.” Billboard’s Mashup Mondays, a show which lets artists cover any song they want, featured the 18-year old star this week to perform live. Charice said that she chose to record the song because it reminds her of her mom. “[She] used to be a vocalist in a band and they were always singing that song,” Charice said. “I love the way Shania sang it and recorded it. It’s just really amazing.”
